KPRM

Modular bridge expansion joints

Modular bridge expansion joints

Manufactured in the following variants:

  • single-module devices
    multi-modeule devices

optional:

  • composite (hybrid replacement) – with a stainless steel overlay protecting surfaces exposed to direct atmospheric conditions and chemical agents
  • top noise insulation – noise suppressing pads made of steel
  • bottom noise insulation – deformable elements filled with sound-absorbing material
  • for mining damage – additional structural elements to enable transverse displacements

for various applications:

  • road structures of all load categories
  • railway structures
  • pedestrian bridges
  • metro structures
  • structures with steel, composite, or reinforced concrete construction

KPRM finger-type bridge expansion joints

Manufactured in the following variants:

  • standard version KPRM-UPE – consisting of finger plates anchored to the structure and a drainage apron;

  • reinforced version KPRM-UPW – consisting of finger plates with a reinforced structure that are not directly connected to the concrete deck. This design allows for the replacement of finger elements without interfering with the structure and also makes it possible to replace or access the drainage apron.

They are used in the following structures:

  • road structures of all load categories

  • structures with steel, composite, or reinforced concrete construction

  • metro structures

Anchoring is executed using:

  • cast-in anchors into which prestressed anchors are screwed

  • bonded anchors, used when replacing expansion joints of different types with finger-type expansion joints.

Bridge Bearings

We are a manufacturer of bridge bearings with many years of experience. Our offer includes several types of bearings:

  • elastomeric bearings in accordance with PN-EN 1337-3
  • pot bearings in accordance with PN-EN 1337-5
  • spherical (lens) bearings in accordance with PN-EN 1337-7
  • special bearings designed and manufactured for non-standard applications, such as industrial structures

Services

Replacement and realignment

We specialize in the full replacement, realignment, and repair of components such as bridge bearings and expansion joints. Our portfolio includes numerous completed projects involving the replacement of joints and inserts, installation of noise insulation, and the realignment and repair of bearings.

Structure lifting

We use our own hydraulic equipment, proven in a wide range of bridge-lifting projects, often carried out to repair or replace bearings. Lifting and support operations are performed without the need to close traffic on the structure.

Repairs and renovation

In addition to maintenance and repair of bearings and expansion joints, we handle structural repairs and renovation of both steel and reinforced concrete elements; mainly on bridge structures. We also provide corrosion protection restoration services.

General construction

As part of our general construction services, we supply bearings for large-scale structures such as industrial halls. We also carry out construction work related to buildings, road infrastructure, and bridges. This includes the fabrication, corrosion protection, and installation of steel structures.

Steel structures

Certification and qualifications

We provide:

  • certificates of compliance with the requirements of EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, EN ISO 3834-2:2021, EN 1090-2:2018
  • fully qualified welding supervisors, NDT supervisors, and personnel responsible for welding, cutting, drilling, bolting, and anti-corrosion work
  • compliance with quality requirements for the manufacture of bridge expansion joints in accordance with National Technical Assessments
  • compliance with quality requirements for the production of bridge bearings in accordance with PN-EN 1337

Production and assembly of steel components

We offer:

  • steel components and structures made of carbon and stainless steel within the scope of our certifications
  • welding of steel structures using methods 131, 135, and 141 for material groups 1.1, 1.2, and 8.1
  • welding and bolting of structures in execution classes up to EXC 4
  • fabrication of components up to 12,000 mm in length and 7 tons in weight
  • stainless steel welding

Corrosion protection

We perform:

  • work in accordance with our valid Welding Qualification Certificate under EN 1090-2:2018
  • surface preparation by sandblast cleaning, achieving the required level of surface cleanliness and roughness profile
  • complete corrosion protection for new steel structures
  • repair of existing corrosion protection
  • thermal spray metallization of zinc coatings using material compliant with ISO 752, with local coating thicknesses from 20 to 300 µm in accordance with PN-EN ISO 2063:2005 (U)
  • painting of steel structures using coating systems suitable for various substrate types, providing durability of more than 15 years in highly corrosive environments
